How can I contribute to the National Climate Assessment?

The development of the fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4) is currently underway, but there is still plenty of time to get involved. Under the Global Change Research Act of 1990, the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) is mandated to conduct a National Climate Assessment every four years. NCA4 is expected to be completed in late 2018.
To find out how you can contribute to NCA4, go to http://www.globalchange.gov/nca4. The USGCRP will continually provide updates there on the status of the Assessment and opportunities for communities to engage. Public contribution is critical to the entire process and there are many different ways to get involved.
In addition, the USGCRP will post public notices at http://www.globalchange.gov/notices, and updates about Assessment milestones at http://www.globalchange.gov/news.
