Hi, I am Natalie Baillargeon, a rising senior. I am studying at Smith College, and my major is Environmental Science and Policy. Much of my undergraduate has been focused on ecological research, ranging from investigating how Arctic tundra fires affect vegetation composition/nutrients to understanding the ecological impacts of utility-scale solar arrays. This summer, I am working with the Climate Program Office’s Modeling, Analysis, Prediction, and Projections (MAPP) program. My main project is conducting a review of MAPP’s Task Forces, which is nearing its tenth anniversary. My goal is to learn the successes and challenges of the Task Forces as well as possible improvements. In my free time, I enjoy dancing salsa and tango, hiking, and playing board games
