The Adaptation Sciences Program hosted their 1st AdSci Forum on May 9th and 10th

The Adaptation Sciences Program hosted the 1st AdSci Forum on May 9th and 10th. Over 50 people attended, including funded AdSci and COCA/SARP PIs, Co-PIs, students, and a range of AdSci partners from organizations such as Sea Grant, NSF, EPA, and US Water Alliance.

The forum provided an opportunity for new PIs (from FY21 competition) to share their project goals with others with potential interest and collaboration. Additionally, participants were able to meet (some of) the AdSci partners within and outside of the Federal Government providing potential access to additional opportunities.

Throughout the forum, it was clear that many connections and networks for on-the-ground implementation were created. This further contributed to the program's goal of creating a cohesive AdSci Community of Practice (AdSci CoP) to collaborate on climate change research and resilient communities.
