Dr. Spinrad to meet with climate action leaders in Chicago

In one of his first acts as NOAA Administrator, Dr. Rick Spinrad announced the Chicago Region Climate Action Plan. On June 15th, Dr. Spinrad will meet with organizers of the Chicago Regional Climate Action Plan. His visit to Chicago will reinforce NOAA's commitment to building a Climate-Ready Nation through the creation of climate smart communities. Attendees at the meeting will include political leaders, administrative staff, climate scientists, congressional representatives, and regional planners.
