WWA’s upcoming webinar for new climate information tools will cover two new online resources for climate change information and climate hazards.

The Western Water Assessment’s (WWA), a NOAA CAP/RISA team, Liz Payton presents highlights and a Q&A for the draft water chapter of the Fifth National Climate Assessment.

This virtual webinar, titled Planning for Fire: Wildfire, Water Quality, and Local Preparedness in the West, highlights graduate student work on local fire risk reduction planning and water quality planning in the face of wildfire risk.

The newly released Utah Hazard Planning Tool provides resources about the historical incidence, current risk, and future projections of natural hazards in the state of Utah.

Given the very strong El Niño event and its likely persistence for several more months, the Western Water Assessment, a NOAA RISA program at CU Boulder, hosted a panel of local experts from NOAA ESRL and the National Weather Service on Friday, Oct. 23. They also released a 2-pager highlighting ENSO's prospective impacts in Colorado.
