This online course will provide participants with the context, information, and tools for communicating effectively in a collaborative climate research setting.

CPO’s Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) Program will host two webinars to facilitate improved understanding of the RISA Program and the 2022 Funding Opportunity. The webinars will review the basics of the four competitions and answer live questions from attendees. 

The RISA Program is accepting applications for RISA teams in the West, Southwest, Central Midwest, and U.S. Caribbean, collaborative planning activities in Appalachia and the Upper Northeast, and research on complex fiscal pathways for climate adaptation in rural areas across the U.S.

This seminar series explores the role of culture in understanding climate impacts on a variety of food systems as well as its potential for effectively building resilience and adaptive management.

“Climate Change in Arctic Environments” will develop participants’ general understanding of climate change in the circumpolar arctic by investigating atmospheric systems, marine systems, terrestrial systems, and human systems.
