Debra Burton, Co-Founder of Tipping Point North South, is invited to speak on the emerging topic of military emissions and the impact of the Russian invasion on this; why these emissions are missing from UN reporting; the scale of the problem; the countries responsible; and critically, how the trillions spent on conventional defense is draining resources away from the biggest security threat to people and planet in the 21st century – runaway climate change. Tipping Point North South is a non-profit set up by former UK debt trade and tax justice campaigners to work across both the creative and NGO sectors through campaigns, events and film.
The webinar will take place on February 1, 2023 at 4:00 PM EST.
