Congratulations to Jose Algarin for being selected for the AMS Early Career Leadership Academy. Jose will join a network of early career leaders in weather, water, and climate science and strengthen skills in creative problem solving, conflict resolution, strategic communication, and diversity and inclusion, and examine how organizations and staff drive change. Jose’s interests in leadership and professional development will bolster the Climate Variability and Predictability program goals where he coordinates work across CVP’s portfolio areas, and bring new knowledge and insights to CPO.
