The Great Basin Climate Forum series, a partnership of the California-Nevada Applications Program (CNAP) RISA and the Great Basin Landscape Conservation Cooperative, brought together over 90 attendees from around the Great Basin region to discuss "What can we learn from the past four years of drought?" on April 8, 2015.
Topics discussed included: outlooks for drought and wildfire, energy and its connections to water use, and incorporating adaptation into decision-making.
The Great Basin Climate Forum series started in 2013 and covers recent and current climate conditions in the Great Basin, and resource management decisions and issues in upcoming months that are affected by climate. The Forum is intended for public and private resource managers and professionals, tribal members, and interested organizations.
