NOAA's Climate Program Office co-sponsored this conference, in partnership with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Wayne Higgins, Director of the NOAA Climate Program Office (CPO), leads U.S. engagement in the Global Framework for Climate Services through his role as the U.S. principal to the Intergovernmental Board on Climate Services (IBCS).
