The Simple Planning Tool for Texas Climate Hazards, previously available in Oklahoma and Arkansas, assists planners, emergency managers, and decision makers in Texas who are assessing their long-term climate risks, both historically and in the future.

This effort, jointly supported by IRAP and RISA, explores the nexus of climate change, health, and migration in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and provides a better understanding of these relationships to inform research and policy agendas that build resilience and adaptive capacity at home and abroad.

On July 27, Gardiner will present on climate adaptation and The Climate Resilience Toolkit Steps to Resilience Framework for FEMA Region 3, helping to bring climate information to communities in need of hazard mitigation assistance and planning support.

The Pacific Northwest Climate Impacts Research Consortium (CIRC), a former NOAA RISA team, will host a screening of the 20-minute Spokane Climate Project film, followed by an interactive session with the film’s director.

This video will serve to increase public awareness of the effects of climate change on national marine sanctuaries and how NOAA is addressing these impacts.
