The article continues a series of interviews with NOAA Climate Program Office (CPO) employees and CPO-funded scientists in celebration of Women’s History Month. Next is Lisa Vaughan, a program manager for the NOAA Adaptation Sciences program and lead of the international programs in CPO’s Climate and Societal Interactions Division.

CPO’s Adaptation Sciences Program will support NOAA Administrator Dr. Rick Spinrad’s participation in an event on international partnerships for blue carbon at COP27.

NOAA will provide funding to CAPA Strategies to support the Urban Heat Island mapping campaigns, a flagship NIHHIS program, to map the hottest part of communities across the country and internationally. NIHHIS is a featured program of the Climate Program Office.
