CPO's Adaptation Sciences Program works with partners in the public and private sector in the U.S. and abroad to enhance the knowledge, engagement and capacity needed to foster adaptation and resilience in the face of a changing climate.

This workshop will explore the notion that drought assessment is being outpaced by climate change, and determine the implications to drought response and adaptation.

The workshop, funded as part of a NOAA RISA planning grant to establish a regional “Heat + Housing + Health Equity Network” for the Southeastern U.S., will be held on June 23.

This March 2022 workshop aimed to build on existing climate adaptation efforts and assist with the development of community-driven adaptation strategies to serve the specific needs, challenges, and opportunities of remote communities in Southeast Alaska.

 The CEE Division has partnered with the Climate Resilience Fund to host a climate resilience workshop this May, building on climate adaptation priorities identified by the broad community of adaptation practitioners.
