The impact of climate on public health and well-being is emerging as a key challenge that society faces today, and one which will likely continue to increase as the climate changes.

The seminar took place on Wednesday, October 2nd from 10-11am EST.

This workshop builds on previous investments by IRAP and NOAA in the Caribbean, and provides linkages to ongoing efforts in NOAA and the USGCRP to address climate and health, including heat health.

NOAA is engaged in a partnership with NSF, NIH, USDA and agencies from 8 other countries to reduce risk in the public health sector through the use of climate-related knowledge and information tools and services; this allows us to leverage millions of dollars of investment from other countries in high priority topics to the US.
