The Carolinas Collaborative on Climate, Health, and Equity (C3HE), a NOAA CAP/RISA team, principal investigators Miyuki Hino and Antonia Sebastian published a new article on floodplain management and housing in North Carolina.
The report calls attention to many of NOAA’s climate-related educational accomplishments, many of which included work by the CEE Division.
This interagency effort will result in the document’s first update since 2009, a highly necessary task given the advances in climate science and shift in public awareness and capacity to make informed decisions.
WWA’s upcoming webinar for new climate information tools will cover two new online resources for climate change information and climate hazards.
While far from comprehensive, the Louisiana Simple Planning Tool aims to provide relatively simple data tools that can be used to incorporate climatologies and future trends into hazard planning.
