The Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments (CISA), a CPO RISA team, and the Southeast Regional Climate Center (SERCC) have released a new story map to explore the way extreme weather events are shifting due to climate change. The story map provides current and past event information on drought, extreme heat, hurricanes, winter weather, and other severe weather in the Carolinas. Each event type is outlined and linked to a network of story maps on the team’s “Convergence” website.
