CPO’s COM Program at AMS 2022 Annual Meeting

COM-funded research made its mark at the AMS 2022 Annual Meeting. More than 20 PIs and research team members, including graduate students and early career postdoctoral researchers, presented on topics covering topics such as

  • planetary boundary layers, 

  • Arctic cloud dynamics, 

  • tropical cyclones, 

  • aerosols, 

  • and other topics aligning with NOAA Research priorities.

These presentations and posters represent a total of 22 abstracts that are directly funded or related to past COM-funded projects over the last 5 years. Additionally, 2 funded PIs chaired sessions and the meeting.
