NIDIS Midwest Drought Early Warning System Regional Workshop: Illinois and Indiana

The National Integrated Drought Information System and its partners are presenting a Midwest drought information workshop to continue building a drought networking community in the region. The workshop will take place on December 5 and 6, 2016.
The workshop offers a historical drought overview and climate outlook, discussion of priorities for drought-related needs and critical issues, information on how local agencies plan for and manage drought events, an overview of available drought and climate tools, and discussion of strategies to improve drought early warning and resiliency in the Midwest.
