This week, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) held a hybrid meeting to launch and celebrate the newly established Air Quality and Community Health Research (ACRS) Subcommittee of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), led jointly by NOAA, EPA and NIEHS and co-chaired by CPO’s Atmospheric Chemistry, Carbon Cycle and Climate (AC4) Program Manager Monika Kopacz.

The interview is a continuation of OAR’s 2023 Women’s History Month Campaign, highlighting accomplished women at NOAA working on climate resilience and building a climate-ready nation.

The workshop, taking place on March 8th and 9th, 2023, will bring together representatives from across government agencies to discuss the advancement of climate solutions on college campuses.

The newly approved Air Quality and Community Health Research Subcommittee (ACRS) under the OSTP will be led jointly by NOAA, EPA and NIEHS and co-chaired by CPO’s Atmospheric Chemistry, Carbon Cycle and Climate (AC4) Program Manager Monika Kopacz.

CPO’s Hunter Jones will serve as a panelist on the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and the General Services Administration (GSA) Open Innovation Forum on Building Equitable Partnerships.
