The Biden-Harris Administration released the Nature-Based Solutions Roadmap, an outline of strategic recommendations to put America on a path that will unlock the full potential of nature-based solutions to address climate change, nature loss, and inequity. This marks the first time the U.S. has developed a strategy to scale up nature-based solutions.

Three NOAA CAP/RISA teams co-developed the Climate Hazard and Mitigation Planning (CHaMP) tool

This online tool aims to communicate potential vulnerabilities to the public and authorities responsible for allocating resources for hazard mitigation activities, and help local hazard mitigation, infrastructure, and land use planners integrate climate information into their hazard mitigation and other planning efforts.
