On May 6 at 11am PT, the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC) Water Policy Center will host the webinar "Is California Ready for Drought?" funded by the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS). Drought isn’t an equal opportunity crisis, as certain sectors and communities are more affected than others. The webinar will include state and local experts as part of a panel discussion on how to reduce drought impacts for the most vulnerable sectors. The research and event are funded by NIDIS and the S.D Bechtel Jr. Foundation.
