The NOAA Climate Program Office recently supported the production of the annual cross-NOAA Coastal Blue Carbon 2023 Accomplishments report, which is now available on the NOAA Coastal Blue Carbon website. CPO’s Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) program contributed to a number of the 2023 coastal blue carbon accomplishments that promote understanding and awareness of progress, provide technical assistance to partner countries, and advance the integration of NOAA science and data in the U.S. Greenhouse Gas Inventory. Additionally, the Climate Program Office Communication, Education, and Engagement Division (CEE) supported the 2023 Accomplishments Report through content coordination across the NOAA line offices and graphic design.
