ACCAP is developing procedures and code that will allow NWS Alaska to use the ERA5 reanalysis in near real-time to assess drought conditions in Alaska. At the conclusion of the project all code will be transferred to NWS Alaska Region. June 2023 status: NWS is evaluating the  procedures and code developed to date.
