At the March 17th XI Summit, Crespo-Acevedo will present the toolkit to climate adaptation professionals in the region, to support the goal of climate resilience in Puerto Rico.
The focus group brought together NOAA practitioners working at the intersection of climate change, blue carbon, and blue carbon habitats to foster discussion on adaptation, mitigation, and coastal ecosystem management.
CPO’s Ned Gardiner will present Urban Climate Modeling: Approaches and Tools for Pathways to Societal Resilience and Adaptation, with a focus on the Chicago region.
The webinar will cover evaluation, small-grants, and other questions on competition 1 based on the letters of intent. While there will be no additional webinar for competition 2, general guidance is provided in bullet points form.

A special issue of Climate Risk Management focuses on the role that boundary organizations narrow knowledge gaps to support adaptation, but also build capacity and networks that strengthen societal resilience. For the past five years, the Great Lakes Integrated Sciences + Assessments (GLISA), NOAA’s Great Lakes RISA office, has experimented with the boundary chains concept and approach.
