Dr. Susanne Moser, a researcher with the western Climate Adaptation Partnerships (CAP) team California Nevada Adaptations Program (CNAP), drew on existing literature to develop 10 key tasks of communication amidst coastal relocation. These tasks, outlined in a summary brochure and explored in depth in a research paper, point to what effective engagement must accomplish to support the successful relocation of at-risk people and structures to safer locations. Through providing actionable information to support those working with communities that may need to relocate to prevent climate disasters, this research advances CNAP goals.
