Next week, the Consortium for Climate Risk in the Urban Northeast (CCRUN), a NOAA Climate Adaptation Partnerships (CAP) team will hold a webinar titled “University Action in the Climate Space: The role of higher education in advancing climate action.” Stephen Hammer, Chief Executive Officer of The New York Climate Exchange, Toddie Steelman, Vice President and Vice Provost for Climate and Sustainability of Duke University, and Bill Solecki, a CCRUN PI, Professor of Geography at Hunter College, and co-founder of the Urban Climate Change Research Network will speak at the webinar. Join the session to learn how universities can lead multi-institutional efforts, urban climate initiatives, and institutional commitments to climate action.
