On Wednesday, October 23rd, the Climate and Societal Interactions (CSI) Division hosted a webinar titled, Considerations for Integrating Nature-based Solutions in Planning. This was the second episode in a five-part Nature-based Solutions webinar series. The webinar series features projects funded by the CSI’s Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) and Climate Adaptation Partnerships (CAP) programs, focused on the research and application of nature-based solutions (NbS). NbS are actions to protect, sustainably manage, or restore natural or modified ecosystems to address societal challenges, simultaneously providing benefits for people and the environment.
The webinar was hosted using GoToWebinar and had 745 registrants and 300 participants. All registrants will receive a recording of the webinar along with the slidedeck used to support the presentations.
