Recognizing that climate is an issue of global concern, individuals and groups in NOAA’s climate programs regularly interact and collaborate with a range of international climate organizations. The Climate Program Office supports work that results in substantial contributions to the following programs.
Global partnerships complement NOAA’s observations, analysis, and data stewardship activities, providing input and feedback that enhances our understanding of the climate system. Additionally, these collaborations broaden the audience for NOAA’s information and climate services. NOAA provides worldwide access to its state-of-the-art climate research, tools, and products, and draws information that can help to improve its responsiveness to pressing needs for climate information and services.
