CPO’s Adam Parris was invited by the American Chemical Society and the Society for Risk Analysis to speak at a Congressional briefing on September 12, 2014 at the Rayburn Building of the House of Representatives.
The briefing was part of a series, sponsored by the American Chemical Society, called the Science & the Congress Project. The series aims to provide opportunities for members of Congress and their staffs to gain a greater knowledge of the science involved in numerous public policy issues.
This specific briefing focused on Water Based Hazards. Parris’s presentation covered lessons learned from building the Sea Level Rise Tool for Sandy Recovery.
