CPO’s Pulwarty to speak at 2015 USDA Outlook Forum

Roger Pulwarty is an invited speaker at the 2015 USDA Outlook Forum “Smart Agriculture in the 21st Century” February, 19-20, 2015 Arlington, Va. The Forum covers issues from International Trade and Food Security to Conservation. Featured speakers include Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack,  the European Commissioner of Agriculture & Rural Development Phil Hogan and, the President of the Council on Foreign Relations,  Richard Haass. USDA’s Chief Economist Joseph Glauber will deliver the 2015 Agricultural & Foreign Trade Outlooks. Roger will speak on the drought monitoring, forecasting and impacts, highlighting NOAA’s national and international early warning capabilities, and,  specific actions in drought-affected regions across the U.S.
