The International Network on Climate and Health in Africa (Clim-Health Africa), in support of the Pan-African Programme for Public Health Adaptation (PHHA) to Climate Change, is held its third annual meeting in Johannesburg, South Africa from 30 September to 2 October 2015. The focus of Clim-Health Africa is the development of health early warning systems for cholera, malaria, meningitis, and extreme heat, and the development of capacity for understanding and responding to climate’s impact on the health and nutrition of food products. By participating in this forum, Juli Trtanj (OAR/CPO) represented NOAA’s interests in the implementation of the Global Framework for Climate Services through Clim-Health Africa.
