On April 23, FEMA released the final “Climate Adaptation Planning: Guidance for Emergency Managers.” The guide helps emergency managers incorporate climate adaptation into emergency management planning.
Dr. Ned Gardiner provided substantial input into the guide, especially working to align its contents with NOAA and USGCRP strategy by linking to national efforts to systematize and scale up adaptation and resilience through the U.S. Climate Resilience Toolkit and its Steps to Resilience.
