The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently announced a call for proposals for Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES). ROSES solicits basic and applied research in support of NASA’s Science Mission Directorate (SMD). This research announcement covers all aspects of basic and applied supporting research and technology in space and Earth sciences.
NOAA’s participation in the call for proposals through the NOAA Climate Program Office’s Atmospheric Chemistry, Carbon Cycle, & Climate (AC4) program focuses on “Carbon dynamics within urban-suburban-forested- agricultural landscapes,” but the full solicitation includes other topics related to carbon cycle science.
The deadline for proposals are May 1, 2013, for Step 1 (Letters of Intent) and July 31, 2013 for Step 2 (full proposals).
