A Western States Water Council (WSWC)  Drought Prediction Workshop will be held in San Diego, California on April 29-May 1. The workshop is co-sponsored by the California Department of Water Resources, in cooperation with the Western Governor’s Association. The agenda includes virtual presentations by the NOAA Climate Program Office’s Roger Pulwarty on National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS) activities and reauthorization, and Annarita Mariotti on Drought Task Force research activities.
