New Polar Vortex Blog on Climate.gov

On December 5, 2023, Climate.gov published the first post in a new blog about the polar vortex. A partnership with experts from the Climate Prediction Center and the Chemical Sciences Laboratory, the new blog will be dedicated to the winds, climate, and chemistry of the polar stratosphere. If we accomplish nothing else, we hope to get people to stop using “polar vortex” for every cold spell this winter!
