On behalf of the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), NOAA is soliciting public comments on the draft Climate Science Special Report (CSSR).
As part of the ongoing National Climate Assessment (NCA) process, the CSSR serves as an important input to the authors of the NCA4, currently underway and expected in 2018. The CSSR provides updated climate science findings and projections to the information presented in the 2014 Third National Climate Assessment (specifically Chapter 2 and Appendices 3 and 4).
The CSSR will be available for a 45-day public review. Comments submitted will be anonymous and will be carefully reviewed by the chapter author teams.
Comments on the CSSR must be received by 11:59pm ET on February 3, 2017.
