SARP Webinar Series: El Nino – The Science and the Potential Impacts

Dan Barrie (NOAA Climate Program Office, Program Manager in the Modeling, Analysis, Predictions, and Projections program) and Mike Halpert (NOAA Deputy Director of the Climate Prediction Center) will provide a detailed description of the current El Niño including our scientific understanding of this periodic event and its forecasted impacts. The timing of this presentation aligns with the ramping up of expected impacts to the U.S. This presentation is meant for those with little to moderate understanding of weather and/or climate processes.

The webinar will be held on Friday, Feb 5, 2016 from 2-3 pm ET.
