The goals of the discussion are to raise awareness among stakeholders on the connections between disaster resilience, climate change adaptation, and environmental justice, and for participants to take away actionable ideas for proactive climate planning.

The workshop, funded as part of a NOAA RISA planning grant to establish a regional “Heat + Housing + Health Equity Network” for the Southeastern U.S., will be held on June 23.
