Adaption Sciences (AdSci) FY2023 Research Program Notice of Funding Opportunity Letter of Intent Information Webinar

The NOAA Climate Program Office Adaptation Sciences (AdSci) Program is hosting a virtual information session on October 12, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET focusing on the letter of intent (LOI) submission phase for the Program’s FY2023 research funding opportunity. Additionally, a full proposal submission phase information session will be hosted at a later date, and interested participants are encouraged to register to receive notice of this session.

In FY2023, the NOAA AdSci Program is soliciting proposals for interdisciplinary adaptation research activities to identify and better understand evolving climate-related risks, vulnerabilities, and adaptive capacity, and to foster the integration of this knowledge into adaptation and resilience planning for islands in the Caribbean and Pacific.

This session will be held via GoToWebinar and will cover the following topics:

  1. Overview of the NOAA Adaptation Sciences Program
  2. Funding Competition details for FY2023
  3. Letter of Intent (LOI) process and timeline
  4. Q&A session **highly encouraged to submit questions ahead of time through the registration form
