NOAA’s Climate and Fisheries Adaptation Program was well represented at the 5th International Symposium on the Effects of Climate Change on the World’s Ocean via oral and poster presentations, a plenary talk, and several sessions convened by CAFA scientists.
As part of an ongoing partnership in the region focused on the development of climate services for adaptation and resilience, NOAA’s Adaptation Sciences program provided funding to Blue Sky Development Consulting to support experts in the design and implementation of an assessment of the state of climate and health science, priorities, and adaptive capacity in the Caribbean.
The paper describes which principles of co-production design are perceived to advance more equitable processes and outcomes.
