On May 4th, CPO’s Nancy Beller-Simms participated in a Water Research Foundation workshop on future water research and innovation solutions, as one of 100 invited water experts. The Water Research Foundation, the leading research organization advancing the science of all water to meet the evolving needs of water utilities, asked water experts to participate in a project to gain advanced insight into water sector challenges and related solutions. The project is focusing on “disruptors” facing the water sector now and over the next 10-20 years and will discuss equity, environmental justice, and climate among many other topics. It expands on the CPO Climate and Societal Interaction Division’s work with water utilities over the past 15 years.
