The Climate and Fisheries Adaptation Program (CAFA), a partnership program between NOAA Research’s Climate Program Office and NOAA Fisheries Office of Science and Technology, is hosting a virtual information session on August 23, 2022 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. ET focusing on the Letters of Intent (LOI) phase for the Climate Program Office’s FY23 research funding opportunity (Competition #6). The CAFA Program is accepting proposals to address either of two priority research topics:
- Advancing multidisciplinary systems to evaluate strategies that promote resilience and adaptation of fish stocks, fisheries, and fishing communities (Type A proposals)
- Advancing understanding of and enhancing the effectiveness of locally determined adaptation planning in frontline fishing communities (Type B proposals)
This session will be held via GoToWebinar and will cover the following topics:
