From July 28-30, Climate Program Office Director Wayne Higgins and CPO Climate and Health Lead Juli Trtanj are particiating in a workshop on the development of climate services for a National Integrated Heat Health Information System (NIHHIS).
Climate Program Office Director Wayne Higgins is scheduled to attend the Pan Pacific International Conference on Climate Change Agenda (PPICCA) in Taipei, Taiwan from Sept. 26 – Oct. 3, 2014.
NOAA’s Climate Program Office has unveiled its Strategic Plan for 2015-2019. The plan leverages CPO’s position at the intersection of NOAA”s science and service missions, the climate research community, and the broader climate enterprise to help guide the office towards its vision: “People, businesses and the environment thriving in the face of climate impacts.”
NOAA’s Climate Program Office has recognized Heidi Kutcher and Amanda McCarty with Exceptional Service Awards for their dedicated work. CPO Director Dr. Wayne Higgins also awarded a plaque to Diane Brown, who is celebrating her 30th year in NOAA service.
Climate Program Office Director Dr. Wayne Higgins will be the luncheon speaker at the Board of Director’s meeting of the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies on April 7.
