NOAA programs and partners played a key role throughout the planning and implementation of the event, providing technical insight and sharing research findings relevant to island solutions.
The NOAA Blue Carbon Inventory (BCI) Project delivered two capacity building workshops in Accra, Ghana to around 20 Government of Ghana staff and partners.
MERT aims to provide climate research and information to reinforce and expand the application of climate science in National Marine Sanctuaries activities, and ultimately improve long-term planning and management of the Sanctuaries System in support of NOAA’s Stewardship mission.
