The Western Water Assessment (WWA), a NOAA CAP/RISA team, is presenting the webinar “Climate change and the water cycle: Call for public comment on the draft Fifth National Climate Assessment” to discuss the drafted water chapter of the assessment. Water-related hazards such as floods and droughts are being amplified across the U.S. by climate change, and their impacts do not affect all regions and populations equally. The water chapter of the Fifth National Climate Assessment (NCA5) discusses the consequences of an intensified water cycle. WWA Water Resource Specialist Liz Payton is a chapter lead and will cover highlights from the chapter followed by a Q&A with the chapter author team.

Join the WWA webinar on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11:00AM – 12:00PM MST.
