On Sept. 17 from 3 – 4:30 p.m., scientists from the Pacific Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) program will present at a Congressional briefing titled Climate Change Impacts in the Pacific: Implications for U.S. Environmental and Human Security. Drs. Melissa Finucane and Victoria Kenner are both fellows at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and plan to present their findings on the effects on global warming on Pacific Island communities and resources.
