Webinar: The Energy-Water Nexus: Where Climate Adaptation and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Policies Collide

Climate Adaptation Partnerships Program

As part of the Spring Noontime Webinars, the Center for Technology and Policy Research and CIRES (along with the Western Water Assessment) will host a Webinar on Feb. 12 at 12 p.m. MT (2 p.m. EST) titled “The Energy-Water Nexus: Where Climate Adaptation and Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Policies Collide.”

Kristen Averyt, Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences and Western Water Assessment will present. Averyt is the Associate Director for Science at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado Boulder. She is also Director of the Western Water Assessment, a NOAA program based at CIRES that focuses on connecting climate science with decision making across the Western US.
