This week, the Climate Program Office (CPO) Climate Education Program presented at the Summer Institute For Climate Change Education. For the third year, CPO partnered with The Teach Climate Network to plan the three-day climate change education conference, which brought together over 300 educators and leaders from the United States, Canada, and the Pacific Islands. The institute aimed to help education professionals increase their confidence and competence in climate change education. From CPO, Amber Liggett, Haley Crim, and Frank Niepold led workshops on Climate 101 and Climate Literacy.
