Kendra Hammond is a grants management program specialist in NOAA’s Climate Program Office (CPO). In this role, she implements and manages grants and cooperative agreements through the award process and provides grant-related assistance to the internal and external grant community. She has worked in CPO (formerly Office of Global Programs) for over 20 years.
A new report cautions that weather and climate conditions, including the onset of higher temperatures during spring, should not be used as a trigger to relax COVID-19 transmission reduction measures.
Through this funding opportunity, NSCP is interested in supporting complementary Earth systems research and modeling efforts, social science and interdisciplinary research efforts which can serve as a catalyst for collaborations between NOAA professionals and scientists supported through this program.
