Upcoming workshop on Forecast-Informed Reservoir Operation and Water Resources Management

CPO’s NIDIS program, the Texas Water Development Board, and the University of Texas-Arlington will host an interactive workshop on September 12-13 in Arlington, Texas. Participants will learn how NOAA forecasts have been applied in decision-support tools for water management in different states and discuss what steps are needed to integrate NOAA forecasts in reservoir operations and water resources management in Texas and Oklahoma.

The Northeast Urban RISA welcomes Anna LoPresti as its new Sustained Assessment Specialist. LoPresti will join a small network of assessment specialists who synthesize research findings and information about adaptation activities in their region as ongoing input to the National Climate Assessment and relevant regional processes. The South Central RISA is also currently seeking a new Sustained Assessment Specialist.

MAPP Webinar: The MAPP Program and its FY 2020 Funding Opportunities

The MAPP Program will host a webinar on Wednesday, July 31, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. ET on our program and new funding opportunities.
